Sustainability.

This is a slow fashion project. The fast fashion industry emits 1.2 billion tons of carbon pollution every year, and 85% of fast fashion ends up in landfills. Fast fashion is environmentally and socially unsustainable. Slow fashion supports ethical, eco-friendly means of producing goods. All of my pieces are handmade to last.

helpful-ish knits is also a zero waste brand. I recycle the paper labels on any new skeins of yarn and all scraps of yarn are either incorporated into new pieces or to create hair scrunchies.

Pricing.

Prices will vary depending on the request, but you can find accurate estimates below each item on the Knitwear page of my site.

Care.

Try to avoid washing often, but you can machine wash your knits on a low, cold setting and then air dry.

Freshen up your garment by spraying with water and a few drops of your favorite essential oil, then air dry.
