I am an optimist by choice & a passionate dog lover.
Things I love include (but are not limited to): my dog, tacos, live music, tennis, Harry Styles, swimming, dancing, & laying in the sun.
My mission is to create a space that empowers you to speak about real life topics and to share real life successes and failures. The internet is a crazy place, so having an honest and open community feels a breath of fresh air.

A little more about my life.
Born and raised in Madison, I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in French & International Studies in 2016. Soon after, I moved to un petit village en France and fulfilled a lifelong dream of working abroad.

Following months of reflection and weeks of indecision, I decided it was time to begin a new chapter. I flew home, packed up my black VW Beetle, and drove to Atlanta in February 2018.
When I’m not walking Frances, I work full-time in public relations and just moved to Portland, OR.
I started helpful·ish on a whim in January 2020 when I needed a mental refresh. I was sick of social media influencing my self-esteem and wanted to share a mixture of things that spark joy in my life.
